Recognizing the relationship that exists between luxury real estate and wine we have launched a new unprecedented campaign in luxury real estate marketing; a campaign which allows our clients to explore their common senses for the good life and discover the home of their dreams. As part of our Tours, clients will sample a divine selection of Texas and French wines as they experience some of the loveliest homes that exist in the Texas Hill Country.
Texas Hill Country not only has some of the most beautiful properties in the country, it is also steeped in a long wine history. As part of these tours, clients will be exposed to little known elements of Texas wine.
Did you know that the roots of the Texas wine industry date back more than three-hundred years. Texas was producing wine for more than one hundred years before California planted grapes. The El Paso area was the country’s premier wine region in the nineteenth century. In fact, Texas viticulture had a tremendous, historic impact on the French wine industry. The Texas rootstocks literally saved devastated French vineyards from phylloxera at the end of the nineteenth century. The technology of grafting vines on a resistant rootstock, introduced by T.V. Munson is still essential element of modern viticulture.
Today, the Texas Hill Country is the second most visited wine region in the United States after Napa valley, according to Orbitz travel. After our Tours, our clients report a new found appreciation for their future home nestled in the Texas Hill and Wine Country.
